Our next Generations of Faith event will take place in late October. We'll be offering a variety of 1/2 hour workshops about the Creed based on suggestions in the Generations of Faith Resource section of this website. However, we need some good, solid, creative ideas for both the Opening and Close of the event.

(The entire group will first gather in our Main Worship Space. That's where the Opening will take place -- about 20 - 25 minutes in length. Then, 1/3 of the group will go to eat while the other 2/3 visit workshop stations. After 1/2 hour, the first group visits workshops. The second group goes to eat; the third visits workshops. We follow this procedure one more time, and then everyone re-gathers for sharing and our Closing Prayer/Activity.)

Have you come across a Creed-related skit, short video, prayer service, etc., that was effective and powerful?

Thanks so much!
Shirley Catterson, DRE
St. Bernard's, Homer Glen, IL

We are doing creed on Jan. 22. Our theme is We Believe... and we're using scripture and prayer from second Sunday of Easter, doubting Thomas, and the song We Walk by Faith. We are showing the section of Peter Pan where Tinkerbell is dying and everyone must believe in order for her to live.
